Season 7 with Savannah West vs. Ariel x
So season 7 of Ultimate Surrender is off to a start.
The first match for the new season was released today. It was me vs. Savannah “The Cupcake” West. She picked a really unintimidating name, “the cupcake” but let me be the first to tell you that this cupcake is going to be the rookie of the year. She has solid upper body strength from being a rock climber. She is intelligent on the mats. She picks up moves really fast. She had never wrestled a day in her life and she picked up EVERYTHING I showed her before we started our bout. She is strong, cute as hell and going to be the next big thing at US…mark my words. click on the large image below for a trailer:
You answered a question I had – that is that you (and I guess all other US regulars) help the new wrestlers learn the ropes and try to make them better. If you don’t mind what was some of the post-match advice/encouragement you gave Savannah?
I usually show girls moves before we start. believe it or not I don’t like squashing new girls. I get no thrill out of it. It’s like taking candy from a baby for me. There is no glory in it. I try to show girls moves, how to get out of stuff, how to get control…yadda yadda yadda. Some girls take for every picking it up while other girls, Like Savannah, pick things up right away.
One thing I did tell her constantly after every round was to keep holding me when she got me…It seems like she would grab me to start to do soemthing and then let go right away. I asked her why she was doing that and she said she didn’t know what she was doing so she’d try something else….well she was doing great until she’d let go.
She’s going to be one of the best if she keeps up with it. Keep an eye out for her!!
